Lost it, or had it stolen? Send us what you have: photos, an appraisal, a receipt or a diamond report. We rebuild the ring in 3D for your approval and handcraft it in Los Angeles. If you're insured, we send your insurer a written replacement quote, or bill them directly.

If your policy lets you choose your jeweler, name Segal. We send the estimate, the insurer pays us, and you pay only the deductible or any upgrade.

Whatever you have is a start.
One clear photo and your ring size is enough to begin. Each extra item makes the match more exact.
- Photos from the proposal, the wedding, social media and any close-ups of your hand.
- Your appraisal, which lists the metal, stones, carat weights and measurements.
- The receipt or order confirmation from the original jeweler.
- A diamond report (GIA, IGI or similar) with the report number.
- Your ring size, or another ring that fits the same finger.
- Your wedding band, if you still have it: the best reference for fit and curve.
- Your claim number, if you're insured, so we can quote your insurer directly.

Can you recreate my ring from photos alone?
Often, yes. One clear photo plus your ring size is enough to start. You approve a 3D design preview before anything is made.
Will my insurer accept Segal as my jeweler?
It depends on your policy. If it lets you choose your jeweler, name Segal and we send the insurer our estimate. If not, our written quote still helps you compare the insurer's offer.
Can my insurer pay you directly?
Yes, where your policy allows the insurer to pay the jeweler. You then pay only your deductible and any upgrade you choose.
Can you match the exact diamond?
We match the specs on your appraisal or diamond report: shape, carat weight, measurements, color and clarity.
Do I need a police report?
Not to start the design. Your insurer will usually need one for a theft claim.
My ring was a designer brand. Can you recreate it?
We don't copy other designers' signature work. Contact us with photos and we'll tell you honestly what we can make.
Can you reuse the stones I still have?
Yes. We set your recovered stones in the new ring, and your old or damaged gold is credited toward it.
